No, the law of the state of the CA shall operate a moped not exceeding 35 mph I think that 30 years and the seller work until it is considered a scooter and must be registered and insured, but I have a 2-speed Puch to 45, but then I have to fix bikes and racing all my life, and then hop-up kits available for this model, legal? Probably not!

Larry is correct, but most of the "moped" is really over 40, my 05 Yamaha Zuma is slightly over 40 and 07 my mother's Honda Metropolitan for almost 40, but I'm not sure if going over 40 years.
